For School Directors & Their Teaching Staff

You don't need to hire anyone
to run this programme.

A teacher already on your staff can deliver Kid Startupper after one to two hours of free training. No business degree. No new job description. No lesson planning at midnight.

A teacher running a Kid Startupper session
The teacher facilitates. The platform teaches.

Your educator opens the prepared lesson and runs the room. The curriculum, the projects and the assessment are already built.

The question every director asks

“But who on my staff could actually teach this?”

The honest answer: almost anyone. Here is who is already doing it.

IT & Computing

The most common choice. Comfortable with the platform from day one.

STEAM & Robotics

A natural fit. Students turn what they built into a business.

Primary generalists

Excellent with the younger cycles. Facilitation matters more than subject expertise.

Languages & Economics

Strong at discussion, debate and the pitch work in Cycle 3.

Nobody needs a business qualification. The curriculum content is delivered by the platform and the prepared materials. Your teacher's job is the one they are already good at — running a room full of children who are building something.

In the classroom Teacher facilitating a session
What the session looks like
They facilitate. They don't lecture.

The teacher opens the prepared lesson plan, projects the slide deck, and sets the students working inside the platform. Students build. The teacher moves around the room, asks questions, and helps where someone is stuck.

It is closer to running a workshop than delivering a subject. Most teachers say it becomes the session they look forward to.

Provided Teaching materials provided
Nothing to write
Every lesson arrives finished

Lesson plans with objectives and timings. Slide decks built to project. Printable worksheets. Exercises. Quizzes that mark themselves. Complete e-books for every cycle.

Preparation is ten to fifteen minutes of reading the plan — and that is what teachers actually report, not what we hope they will.

Getting them ready
One to two hours, online, on their schedule

Our education team trains your teacher live via teleconference, at a time that suits them — most complete it from home in the evening. They finish with a certificate of completion for their CPD record.

It costs your school nothing, now or ever. Additional sessions stay free for as long as they teach the programme.

The honest numbers

What this actually costs your teacher in time

No estimates dressed up as facts. This is what partner schools report.

What When Time required
Initial CPD training Once, before the first lesson 1–2 hours
Lesson preparation Before each session 10–15 minutes
Marking and assessment Ongoing Largely automatic
Writing curriculum content Never Zero
Sourcing materials Never Zero
Technical setup or IT work Never Zero
Why your teacher will want this

This is not extra work you are handing someone. It is something they gain.

Adoption succeeds when the teacher wants it, not when they are assigned it. Here is what makes educators say yes — and what makes them stay with the programme into a second and third year.

Free CPD with certificate

Hours logged and certified for their professional record and annual review — at no cost to them or to your school.

The teacher parents ask about

When a child says “I built a business today”, parents ask who runs it. That recognition lands on your teacher first.

A rare and rising skill

Entrepreneurship education is one of the fastest-growing areas in K–12. Educators who can deliver it are becoming difficult to replace.

Corina K., Open School Cyprus

It gave us the technological tool that was missing from entrepreneurship teaching. There is no comparable product anywhere. And for the children, the gamification is what makes it work — they learn through play and get genuinely hooked on something that is actually good for them.

Getting your teacher ready

From decision to first lesson, usually within a week

You choose the teacher. We do the rest.

1
Nominate your teacher

Tell us who will run the programme and roughly when they are free. Any subject background is fine — we have trained educators from every discipline.

2
We create their account within 24 hours

They receive access to the training portal, all curriculum materials and the administrator panel if you want them to have it. Nothing for your IT department to do.

3
They complete their free CPD session

One to two hours, live, online, at a time that suits them. They finish with a certificate and everything they need already downloaded.

4
First lesson — with support behind them

Technical and pedagogical support runs all year. If something isn't working in the room, they contact us and we help. Extra CPD sessions stay free.

The thing directors underestimate

The teacher who runs this becomes visible in your school.

Entrepreneurship sessions produce things parents can see — a business their child named, a page they designed, a pitch they delivered at the end-of-year Hackathon. That visibility attaches to the teacher who ran it.

Directors tell us the same thing repeatedly: the programme is asked about at open evenings, mentioned between parents, and cited as a reason families stay. It starts with one teacher and one classroom.

Practical questions

What directors ask about staffing this

Answered directly.

No. This is the most common misconception. The curriculum content, projects and assessment are delivered by the platform and the prepared materials. Your teacher facilitates the session. Educators from IT, STEAM, primary, languages and economics all run this successfully — no business qualification is required by any of them.

One is enough to start. Many schools begin with a single teacher and one class, then train a second educator when they expand to more year groups. Training is free regardless of how many teachers you send.

We train the replacement at no cost, at short notice. Because all materials, student progress and project work live inside the platform rather than in one person's files, the new teacher picks up exactly where the previous one stopped.

The programme is designed around one session per week across an academic year. Preparation is ten to fifteen minutes per session. Marking is largely automatic. There is no curriculum writing at any point.

It is genuinely free and separate from the per-student fee. There is no training charge at any point — including during your free 30-day trial, and including every additional session you request afterwards.

Your teacher receives a certificate of completion recording the hours completed, suitable for their CPD/PD portfolio and annual review. Recognition requirements vary by country and district, so we recommend confirming with your own authority — we provide the documentation needed to submit.

Yes, if you give them administrator access. From the Administrator's control panel they can add or deactivate students, monitor progress in real time, and see registrations and section data without contacting us.

Technical and pedagogical support throughout the academic year, plus free additional CPD sessions whenever they want one — a refresher, a deep-dive on a specific cycle, or help with something that isn't landing in the classroom. Details on our support page.

Pick one teacher. Give them thirty days.

Run the free trial with a single class and one educator. Watch what happens in the room. Then decide whether it belongs in your timetable — with evidence from your own school rather than a brochure.
