So here is ours, in plain terms. What the AI does, what it deliberately will not do, and why we built it to give your child a better question instead of a finished answer.

The design decision that shaped everything

AI can either do a child's thinking,
or teach them to do it. It cannot do both.

This is the single most important choice anyone building educational AI has to make, and most avoid making it openly. An assistant that produces the answer is more impressive in a demo and considerably less useful in a childhood.

We built ours the other way. Ask it to name your business and it asks what feeling you want customers to have. Ask it to write your pitch and it asks what problem you actually solve. It is deliberately, sometimes frustratingly, unhelpful in exactly the right way.

What we are not claiming

The AI is the support layer. It is not the education.

The curriculum was written by educators over more than a decade and tested in real classrooms. The e-books, the lessons, the exercises and the structure are not generated by AI — they are the product of teaching experience, and AI did not write them.

What the AI does is sit alongside that curriculum and give each child individual guidance while they work through it. That is genuinely valuable, and it is also a narrower claim than most of the industry is making right now.

We would rather tell you exactly what it is than imply it is something larger. If a platform cannot explain in one paragraph what its AI actually does, that is usually because the honest answer is less impressive than the marketing.

The part that changed most

The entire educational value of the programme depends on your child doing the work, so handing thinking back is the core design principle rather than a limitation.

No. A general assistant knows nothing about your child, their lesson, their business or their history — and will happily answer anything about any subject. Andrew is built into the platform, knows all of that context, and operates inside strict boundaries: entrepreneurship, the curriculum, and your child's project.

No. The curriculum, the e-books, the lessons and the exercises were written by educators and tested in real classrooms since 2011. The AI supports students working through that material — it did not produce it.

No, and we design against that deliberately. In schools the teacher runs the session; Andrew handles the individual questions a teacher of twenty-five children cannot answer simultaneously. The teacher remains the person in the room.

Student data is handled under GDPR and COPPA, parental consent is required, and we do not sell or share student data with third parties. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy, and if you have a specific question about how your child's data is handled we will answer it directly — just ask.

Yes, and we would be misleading you to claim otherwise — all AI systems can be. This is one reason the curriculum content itself is written by educators rather than generated, and why Andrew's role is to ask questions rather than assert facts. It is also, incidentally, a useful lesson: children learn early that AI output has to be judged rather than accepted.
