Anyone can build an education platform in six months and market it well. We have been doing this since 2011 — and everything below can be verified.
One of the most prestigious distinctions in education in the region, awarded for innovation in teaching — and given to Kid Startupper for the entrepreneurship curriculum.
Judged by educators, not by a marketing panel. That distinction matters, and it is the reason we lead with this one.
We are not going to pretend this is an international accreditation. It is a genuine award from a genuine university — and we would rather describe it accurately than inflate it.
Where the platform came from, and where it has been shown.
The concept was developed and tested with children in Greek schools and education centres — long before there was a platform to put it on. The curriculum came first. The technology came later.
That order matters: this was not a piece of software looking for an educational use.
The platform launched and was showcased at Web Summit in Dublin, one of the largest technology conferences in the world. Google awarded Kid Startupper server credits — the infrastructure that made the launch possible at all.
Representatives from Dell, Twitter, Blume Ventures and FENOX Venture Capital visited the stand.
Presented at WEBIT, one of the major technology and digital innovation conferences in the region — putting the platform in front of an international audience in its first year.
The first partner schools and education centres started running the programme with real students, across full academic years. Everything after this point was shaped by what actually worked in classrooms.
The distinction described above. Awarded for innovation in education, judged by academics and educators.
Presented to primary and secondary teachers from Germany, with university professors from Sweden in attendance. An audience of practising educators, which is the hardest room to convince.
Presented to an academic audience at Mediterranean College — part of a sustained programme of putting the curriculum in front of people qualified to criticise it.
Featured at ENTREDU on entrepreneurship education, alongside INTRASOFT, SIVECO, INSEAD and the University of Crete. Being on that programme is not something you can purchase.
Featured at the international conference on promoting educational innovation in Greece — the fifth time the curriculum had been presented to an academic audience rather than a commercial one.
Now running with home learners and partner schools internationally, with an AI mentor built into the platform. COPPA and GDPR compliant. McAfee SECURE certified. No advertising, ever.
We have never declined a compliance review request from a school.
An award does not teach your child anything. What all of this tells you is that the curriculum has been examined by people with no reason to be polite about it — and it survived.
University of West Attica, University of Crete, Mediterranean College, Swedish professors at Erasmus+. People whose job is to find weaknesses in educational claims.
German primary and secondary teachers at Erasmus+, and educators across the innovation conferences. Teachers are the hardest audience because they have seen everything.
Web Summit, WEBIT, and the Google server credits that made the launch possible. Not an endorsement of the pedagogy — but evidence the platform is real.
Partner schools in Greece and Cyprus have delivered full academic years since 2017. A school that renews a programme is a stronger signal than any award.
COPPA and GDPR compliant, McAfee SECURE certified. We have never declined a compliance review request from a school, and we never will.
Fifteen years. Most edtech products do not survive three. Longevity is unglamorous and it is the hardest thing on this page to fake.
If you are deciding whether to trust us with your child's time, these are the questions worth asking.
Partner schools in Greece and Cyprus have run the programme across multiple academic years. A school that renews has watched it work with their own students — which is worth more than a stage appearance.
Every lesson, every exercise and every quiz is visible in the account as it is completed. Nothing is hidden behind a summary report you have to request.
No advertising. No mobile app, deliberately, so we are not competing with an infinite scroll for your child's attention. Both cost us money. We consider both worth it.
Read any page on this site and you will find us stating limits — the certificate is not a state qualification, most students will not become founders, the AI can be wrong. We would rather be trusted than impressive.
We have not been featured in Forbes, the BBC or Bloomberg, and you will not find their logos anywhere on this site. Plenty of platforms display press logos for a single passing mention, or for coverage they paid for. We would rather have an empty space there.
We do not hold a national curriculum accreditation in any country, and the certificate your child earns is a Kid Startupper certificate rather than a state qualification. We say so plainly on the certificate page.
Everything on this page happened, and every item can be checked. That is a lower bar than most marketing sets for itself, and a considerably harder one to clear.
That is from Corina at Open School in Cyprus, a partner school running the programme with real students. She also said the platform gave them the technological tool that was missing from entrepreneurship teaching, and that the children get genuinely hooked on something that is actually good for them.
No conference stage, no award panel and no press logo carries the weight of a school that has run something for a full year and wants it again.
Answered directly.
No, and we will not imply otherwise. Kid Startupper is an independent education platform. The Education Leaders Award came from the University of West Attica, and the curriculum has been presented at academic conferences — but that is recognition, not national accreditation. If a platform claims accreditation, ask them which authority and in which country.
Google awarded Kid Startupper server credits at Web Summit in 2014 — cloud infrastructure that made launching the platform possible. It was support for an early-stage company, not an endorsement of the curriculum, and we describe it that way deliberately.
We do not publish a headline student number, because the figure most platforms quote counts anyone who ever registered an account. That number would flatter us and tell you nothing. What we will tell you is that partner schools have run full academic years since 2017 and continue to renew. If you want specifics for a particular question, ask us and we will answer honestly.
Yes. Every conference, award and presentation on this page is a matter of public record. For compliance, we provide full documentation on request and have never declined a review from a school. If your school's academic team wants to examine the curriculum in detail, we will send it.
Because we have not earned one worth showing. We removed press logos from this site rather than display them for a passing mention. When we have coverage that genuinely means something, it will appear here.
Honestly, only partly. Recognition tells you the curriculum has been examined by qualified people and survived, and that we have been here long enough to be accountable. Whether it holds your particular child's attention is something only they can answer — which is why the trial is free.
Everything on this page is our side of the argument. The only opinion that decides anything is your child's — and the free trial costs nothing to find out.
